I was swayed by the advertisement. Received quickly, everything was well-packaged. I was pleasantly surprised by the Chinese engineers; the device is decent and fully meets its functionality.

For some context, I remember seeing the actual Thigh Master commercials on late night tv, with Suzanne Sommers in leotards and just generally being cynical about them - so I'm old and I'm grumpy! But this item should be evaluated in a slightly different context I think, and it's one that I am increasingly appreciative of as I get older. Basically, I am now always looking for ways to add little bits of exercise and toning into my day - to build strength, flexibility and just generally add to my daily activity levels. This is a great item in that context - it is well designed, easy to use and not too complicated. It's at a great price point and can be used in a multitude of situations: when you are watching tv or working at your desk, when you are doing clamshell toning exercises, or I suppose for your arms for light toning (I haven't used it that way but it would work). I don't see any way to control the resistance levels but I don't think you need to - it has a nice little counter and reset button to monitor your reps, and you can easily adjust the placement of the thigh pads so you can get it where you want. I think it's a really useful item to have around! Keep in mind that this arrives in a relatively small box and when you cut the plastic wrapping it will jump out at you - so turn away!! Comes in blue too .... really nicely made and I can't imagine much can go wrong with it so it should last forever.

This has more resistance than I thought it would. It's pretty small so storing it is easy, using it is easy, and it does exactly what it's supposed to. I've recently started a weight loss journey and one thing I'm trying to do it use my down time. Instead of just sitting down watching a show or reading a book, I want to be doing simple exercises. This thing is perfect for working out my thighs while I do just that.There doesn't seem to be a way to adjust the resistance but even after 30 or so leg squeezes (not sure what to call them) you can start to feel it in your thighs. There are a few different exercises you can do with this and I even found that it'll work out my chest by using it on my arms. The counter is so nice to have on there because if you loose count yourself, or don't want to bother counting at all, it's got you covered.Overall I'm really happy with this. It'll make down time more productive. The pads aren't the most comfortable, which is my only complaint. The can swivel around by pulling them out and twisting (think of the socket on a wall plug air freshener, pull and turn). This is a really great little let exerciser!

Good product very comfortable valuable for money

This is a reasonably priced digital thigh master. It is easy to use and provides a great thigh workout for a beginner like me. my wife has the worst inner thighs, and the other thigh master was rough on her skin. I like this counting display and the arms are more comfortable and soft on thick thighs. We will both use this.
